Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for controlling access based on a key in a social network service. The present invention relates to the method for controlling access based on the key in the social network service by the access control apparatus comprising the steps of: (a) separating a unique master key of a file owner and generating one core key and a plurality of sub-keys wherein each of the sub-keys is differently allocated for each of plural groups classified according to a reliability level and a relation; (b) when key distribution is requested by a file requester, determining a group to which the file requester is affiliated by using at least one among a friend list of the file requester, a reliability level between the file requester and the file owner, and a friend list of the file owner and distributing a sub-key corresponding to the determined group to the file requester; and (c) when a file is requested by the file requester, determining whether access to the file of the file owner is allowed by using the sub-key distributed to the file requester and the core key.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for providing a social network service are provided. According to the present invention, the method for providing a social network service comprises the steps of: (a) setting an access threshold value for a specific content of a content owner, and weights for one or more communities which the content owner joins as a member; (b) extracting a community, which a content requester joins as a member, from the communities and calculating activity values of the content requester for the extracted communities, when a request for the specific content is received from the content requester; (c) calculating a reputation value for the content requester using one or more of the number of the extracted communities, the weights set to the extracted communities, and the calculated activity values; and (d) giving access right to the specific content to the content requester, according to the result of the comparison between the calculated reputation value and the set access threshold value.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for handling an access-request from an unknown user in a social network service are disclosed. The disclosed method for handling the access-request from the unknown user is a method for handling the access-request from the unknown user in the social network service executed in a user terminal. The disclosed method comprises the steps of receiving a first access-request message including the information of the unknown user from an unknown user terminal; of transmitting a first authentication message including the information of the unknown user to terminals of user′s friends who receive an access key in advance; of receiving a second access-request message including the access key from the unknown user terminal; and of allowing the access-request of the unknown user terminal in response to the reception of the second access-request message.
