Abstract: PURPOSE: A seat belt device for a vehicle is provided to improve shock absorption effect by effectively dispersing side impact applied to an anchor. CONSTITUTION: A seat belt device for a vehicle comprises a seat belt anchor(2), a guide bar(110), and an extension guide assembly(100). The seat belt anchor is connected to a B-pillar with a fastening bolt(10). The guide bar is extended to a front of the B-pillar between the seat belt anchor and the B-pillar and is rotatably comprised in a predetermined angle. The extension guide assembly comprises a belt guide connected to an end part of the guide bar and extends a seat belt to the front of the B-pillar in order to support the seat belt. The seat belt anchor comprises an anchor metal plate, an upper cover(70), and a lower cover(50). The upper cover comprises a contact rib(72) protruding towards the lower cover. The lower cover comprises a lower sidewall(52), an arc-shaped rib(55), and a connecting rib(55a). The lower sidewall protrudes in an edge of a bottom plate(53), and one part of the lower sidewall is connected to the connecting rib. The arc-shaped rib is formed in inside of the bottom plate in order to mount the anchor metal plate. The connecting rib connects the arc-shaped rib and the lower sidewall.
