Abstract: PURPOSE: A seat belt strap and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to automatically restrict the carry-along movement by varying weaves of thread. CONSTITUTION: A seat belt strap comprises a plurality of warp threads(1,3), a weft thread(2), and a catch thread(5). The weft thread is extended from one edge to the other edge. The weft thread periodically reverses the direction at reversal points, and is interwoven with the warp threads. The weft thread at the reversal points is reversed and folded to from loops. The catch thread is supplied through the loops. The catch thread is placed between the warp threads.
