    Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition containing a formulation for measuring lactoferrin expression level is provided to ensure anti-inflammation and to prevent and treat diseases caused by allergen. CONSTITUTION: A method for providing information for diagnosing allergic rhinitis comprises: a step of preparing a sample from an individual; a step of measuring lactoferrin expression level from the sample; and a step of determining allergic rhinitis in case that the individual has less than 307ng/ml of lactoferrin. The allergic rhinitis is caused by dermatophagoides pteronyssinus(Dpt). The sample includes tissue, cells, whole blood, plasma, spittle, or urine. A composition for diagnosing allergic rhinitis contains a formulation for measuring lactoferrin expression level.
