Abstract: 본 발명은 산약 분말, 산약 분말의 펠릿(pellet), 산약즙 또는 산약 추출물을 포함하는 소화성 궤양 예방용 조성물 및 위산분비 억제용 조성물에 대한 것이며, 추가적으로 그러한 조성물을 포함하는 약제학적 제제 또는 건강기능식품에 대한 것이다.
본 발명에 따른 조성물을 포함하는 약제학적 제제 또는 건강기능식품을 평소에 복용할 경우, 소화성 궤양 발병의 위험성이 현저히 감소될 수 있으며, 소화성 궤양이 발병한 경우라도 조기에 회복될 수 있는 효과를 가진다. 또한 본 발명에 따른 조성물은 위산의 과다분비로 인한 속쓰림 등의 증상 완화에도 탁월한 효능을 가진다.-

Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition for preventing peptic ulcer and a composition for suppressing gastric secretion are provided to remarkably reduce risk for developing peptic ulcer and to early recover peptide ulcer. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing peptic ulcer contains Dioscoreae Rhizoma powder, pellet, juice, or extract as an active ingredient. The extract is prepared using alcohol or a mixture of alcohol and water. A drug and functional food for preventing peptic ulcer contains the composition. The functional food is manufactured in the form of a liquid formulation, candy, gum, paste formulation, and snack. An inhibitor and functional food for suppressing gastric secretion contains the composition.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition containing soybean-processed by-products is provided to reduce accumulation of body fat and to prevent and treat obesity without side effect. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing or treating obesity contains 0.001-30 wt% of soybean-processed by-product as an active ingredient. The by-products are soybean soaking water, soybean curd whey, or a mixture thereof. The soybean soaking water is prepared by dipping soybeans at 10-30 Deg. C. for 3-24 hours. The active ingredient suppresses the accumulation of cholesterol in body, the accumulation of neutral fat, the differentiation of preadipocytes to adipocytes, the generation of fat, the activation of acetyl-CoA carboxylase(ACC), and the activation of AMPK(AMP-activated protein kinase). The composition contains one or more pharmaceutically acceptable carriers or excipient.
