Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for fabricating wear-resistant and heat-resistant hypereutectic aluminum alloys by a field control is provided to control the generation of pore defects and a shrinkage of a product by forming a low injection temperature condition and to extend a lifetime of a mold. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating wear-resistant and heat-resistant hypereutectic aluminum alloys by a field control is as follows. A hypereutectic aluminum alloy contains Al as a basic component and 14.0 to 16.0wt.% of Si, 4.5 to 5.5wt.%, of Ni, 3.0 to 4.0wt.%, of Cu, maximum 1.0wt.% of Fe, and 0.7 to 1.0wt.% of Mg. The hypoeutectic aluminum alloy contains impurities such as Cr and Ti. A field control with respect to Al, Si, Ni, Cu, Fe, Mg, Cr, and Ti is performed through an electromagnetic stirring at a melting temperature of 585°C(S10). Molten metal is cast(S20).

Abstract: A method for bonding dissimilar aluminum using centrifugal casting is provided to produce products of high strength and abrasion-resistance while reducing the failure rate by making the cast structure fine. A method for bonding dissimilar aluminum using centrifugal casting comprises a first step of heating up the inner wall of a mold of a true-centrifugal caster, a second step of injecting molten metal to be used as an outer material into the mold, a third step of agitating while injecting molten metal to be used as an inner material into the mold, and a fourth step of cooling after hardening the molten metal.
