PURPOSE: A method for antagonistic microorganism is provided to ensure excellent performance in promoting growth of roots, stems, and leaves of capsicum annuum. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing phytophthora blight contains a combination of two kinds selected from the group as active ingredients, consisting of Bacillus subtilis AH18, Bacillusmegaterium KL39, Bacillus licheniformis K11, Bacillusthuringiensis BK4, Pseudomonas fluorescens 2112, Pseudomonas maltophilia AM5, Serratia proteamaculans 3095. The combination of the strains is simultaneously inoculating, culturing, and treating into Capsicum annuum.

An antagonistic microorganism Bacillus subtilis and a method for biologically controlling plant pathogenic fungi and promoting plant growth by using the same microorganism are provided to inhibit growth of pathogenic fungi by producing antifungal materials, siderophore and cellulase, and promote plant growth by producing a plant growth stimulating hormone, auxin. The antagonistic microorganism Bacillus subtilis(KACC 91205P) produces siderophore, cellulase or auxin and is isolated from the soil. A composition for controlling Phytophtora capsici or Fusarium oxysporum or promoting plant growth comprises Bacillus subtilis(KACC 91205P) and further comprises at least one of antagonistic materials selected from siderophore and cellulase.

An antagonistic microorganism Bacillus licheniformis K11 and a method for biologically controlling plant pathogenic fungi and promoting plant growth by using the same microorganism are provided to inhibit growth of plant pathogenic fungi by producing antifungal substance, and siderophore, degrade cell wall of the plant pathogenic fungi by producing cellulase, and promote growth of plant by producing auxin. The antagonistic microorganism Bacillus licheniformis K11(KACC 91206P) producing at least one material selected from an antifungal substance, siderophore, cellulase and auxin is isolated from the soil. A composition for biologically controlling plant pathogenic fungi and promoting plant growth comprises Bacillus licheniformis K11(KACC 91206P) and further comprises at least one material selected from an antifungal substance, siderophore, cellulase and auxin, wherein the plant pathogenic fungi include Phytophtora capsici and Fusarium oxysporum. The cellulase is produced by culturing Bacillus licheniformis K11(KACC 91206P) at 20-70 deg.C and pH 4-10.
