Abstract: An ursolic acid is provided to protect lipid peroxidation of hydrogen peroxide in auditory cells HEI-OCl and increase activity of antioxidase catalase and glutathione peroxidase, thereby being used for auditory diseases induced by excessive reactive oxygen species with no side effects on human body. A composition for treating diseases induced by over-expression of reactive oxygen species in auditory cells such as ringing in the ears, hearing impairment and hearing loss comprises an ursolic acid represented by a formula(1), wherein the ursolic acid is isolated from Cornus officinalis. Further, the 0.001 to 500 mg of ursolic acid is dosed to 1kg of human body.

Abstract translation: 提供熊果酸，以保护听觉细胞HEI-OCl中过氧化氢的脂质过氧化，增加抗氧化酶过氧化物酶和谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶的活性，从而用于过度活性氧诱发的听觉障碍，对人体无副作用。 用于治疗由听觉细胞中的活性氧过度表达诱发的疾病如耳鸣，听力损伤和听力损失的组合物包括由式（1）表示的熊果酸，其中熊果酸分离自枸杞 。 此外，将0.001至500mg的熊果酸加入到1kg的人体内。
