    Abstract: An active noise control system is provided to be mounted with a small size in a duct, having an actuator without being damaged by flow, and to prevent a mode created by excitation frequency. An active noise control system includes a reference microphone(61), an error microphone(63), an actuator(10), an A/D-D/A converter(20), and a control unit(30). The reference microphone senses an original signal generated from noise source, and is arranged in a duct(1) adjacent to the noise source. The error microphone is arranged behind the reference microphone. The actuator is installed between the reference and the error microphones. The control unit filters the reference signal sensed by the reference microphone to convert the reference signal into an analog signal through the A/D-D/A converter, and transmits the converted signal to the actuator to generate a sound wave with the same size as and reverse phase to the original signal so as to reduce an error signal received from the error microphone by an LMS(Least Mean Square) algorithm.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for calculating an expansion editing distance including an exchange operation is provided to calculate the expansion editing distance including the exchange operation in parallel, thereby improving time complexity without considering space complexity. CONSTITUTION: A table for storing an expansion editing distance between a character included in a first character string and a character included in a second character string is initialized. An expansion editing distance of a cell located in a diagonal direction on the table is calculated in parallel by using threads assigned to each row or column of the table. An auxiliary data structure for storing a position, which an exchange operation between the first character string and the second character string for the threads is generated, is calculated. The expansion editing distance corresponding to each cell of the table is calculated by using the auxiliary data structure per thread.
