Abstract: 본 발명은 볼텍스 튜브(Vortex Tube)를 이용하여 자동차에서 배기가스로 버려지는 열을 전기에너지로 회수하는 효율을 극대화할 수 있도록 한 자동차의 배열회수용 열전발전 시스템에 관한 것으로서, 배기관(50)에서 배출되는 배기가스가 유입되면서 고온가스와 저온가스로 분리 배출되는 볼텍스 튜브(1)와, 상기 볼텍스 튜브(1)에서 토출되는 고온가스가 유입되어 발전을 하도록 구성된 열전모듈(2)과, 상기 열전모듈(2)로 유입되는 고온가스의 온도를 배기가스의 압력에 관계없이 균일하게 되도록 제어하는 제어수단을 포함한다.
따라서, 본 발명은 배기가스가 볼텍스 튜브로 유입되면서 고온가스와 저온가스로 분리되면 고온가스를 열전소자로 유입시켜 발전하도록 함으로써, 균일하고 효율적인 발전 효율을 이룰 수 있는 효과를 가지고 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A thermoelectric power generation system for exhaust heat recovery of a vehicle is provided to achieve uniform and efficient generation by separating exhaust gas into high and low temperature gases through a vortex tube and leading the high temperature gas to a thermoelectric element. CONSTITUTION: A thermoelectric power generation system for exhaust heat recovery of a vehicle comprises a vortex tube(1), a thermoelectric module(2), and a control unit. Through the vortex tube, exhaust gas discharged from an exhaust pipe(50) is separated into high and low temperature gases. The thermoelectric module, which comprises a chamber and a thermoelectric element, generates electricity from the high temperature gas delivered from the vortex tube. The control unit, which comprises a throttle valve, a controller(9), and a pressure sensor(10), uniformly controls the temperature of the high temperature gas flowing into the thermoelectric module regardless of the pressure of exhaust gas.
