Abstract: A method for appreciating formaldehyde pollution is provided to accurately and detaily evaluate the pollution degree of formaldehyde by applying acute effect and chronic effect. A method for appreciating formaldehyde pollution comprises: a step (S100) of classifying either acute effect and chronic effect to one more levels based on the contamination figure of formaldehyde; and a step (S200) of constructing knowledge data base based on the pollution degree of formaldehyde; A method for classifying chronic effect comprises: a step of performing capacity-reaction evaluation which determines the probability of occurrence to calculate carcinogenesis probability and unit harmfulness; a step of calculating the harfulness of carcinogenesis based on the calculated carcinogenesis probability and unit harmfulness; and a step of classifying pollution degree to two more level.
