Abstract: 본 발명은 인간 멜라노 코르틴-4-수용체(melanocortin-4-receptor;MC4R)에 특이적으로 결합하는 개구린 5로부터 합성 및 제조된 펩타이드 유도체를 함유한 항비만제에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 유도체는 식욕조절과 비만유발에 중추적인 역할을 하는 멜라노 코르틴-4-수용체를 탐색하고 분석하는데 유용하게 사용될 수 있으며, 세포 독성이 없고 인간 적혈구 세포에 대한 용혈활성이 적으므로 인체에 안전한 비만관련 질환 예방 및 치료제로 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.

Abstract: Antiobestic peptide derivatives synthesized and produced from gaegurin 5 are provided to control obesity by specifically binding to a human melanocortin-4 receptor(MC4R) and improve its use safety by eliminating toxicity to cells and hemolytic activity against human red blood cell. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating obesity-related diseases comprises a peptide derivatives which bind to a human melanocortin-4 receptor(MC4R), are synthesized from gaegurin 5 by substituting the amino acid terminal region of gaegurin 5 by tryptophan and are represented by F-L-G-W-L-F-K-V-A-S-K(A4W-GGN5N11) and F-L-G-A-L-F-K-W-A-S-K(V8WGGN5N11), and pharmaceutically acceptable carriers.
