Abstract: PURPOSE: A propeller and a red tide eliminating apparatus including the same are provided to spread a particulate material on at least a part of blades of the propeller, thereby increasing the surface roughness of the blades and effectively eliminating red tide. CONSTITUTION: A propeller comprises a hub(11) and a plurality of blades(13). The hub has a cylindrical shape. The blades are radially coupled to the hub. A particulate material(15) for enhancing surface roughness is spread on at least a part of the blades. The particulate material is silicon carbide or silicon dioxide. Each of the blades has a fixed pitch ratio. If the surface roughness of the leading edge of each blade is increased, the fluctuation of a fluid in the leading edge of each blade is increased. The creation of cavitation in the surface of the blades is promoted.

Abstract: 본 발명은 프로펠러 및 이를 포함하는 적조 제거 장치에 관한 것이다. 보다 상세하게는, 본 발명은 적조 제거를 위해 보다 효과적으로 캐비테이션(cavitation, 공동현상)을 생성할 수 있는 프로펠러 및 이를 포함하는 적조 제거 장치에 관한 것이다. 프로펠러는 허브(hub), 그리고 복수의 블레이드(blade)를 포함한다. 복수의 블레이드는 상기 허브에 방사상으로 결합된다. 상기 블레이드의 앞전 중 적어도 일부에는 표면 거칠기(roughness)를 높이기 위한 입자성 물질이 도포된다.
