    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for the enzyme hydrolysis of sericine and a reactor used therefor are provided, therefore the high purity, low molecular weight sericine can be obtained and used enzyme can be reused, so that the low molecular weight sericine can be cheaply obtained. CONSTITUTION: The method for the enzyme hydrolysis of sericine comprises the steps of: partially hydrolyzing a fiber to expose hydroxyl group (-OH) and carboxyl group(-COOH) on the surface of the fiber; activating the surface of the fiber using a cross-linking agent; fixing an enzyme on the activated surface of the fiber; loading the fiber in two separate enzyme reactors; and circulating a sericine solution into the enzyme reactors to decompose the sericine, in which the fiber is polyester or nylon, the cross-linking agent is glutaraldehyde, and the enzyme is trypsin or alpha-chymotrypsin(wherein, the trypsin is fixed on a first enzyme reactor and the alpha-chymotrypsin is fixed on a second enzyme reactor).
