Abstract: An apparatus for temperature-intensity sensory test of a food is provided to allow panels or consumers to evaluate intensity and preference of sensory characteristics according to temperature of a food by setting a temperature of the food to a desired temperature and maintaining it accurately. An apparatus for performing a temperature-intensity sensory test of a food comprises: (a) a container portion(102) which contains a food sample to be tested; a temperature controlling portion(104) which controls temperature of the food using a heat device(104-1) and a cooling device(104-2); a lighting portion(106) which reduces error caused by a color of the food; a temperature measuring device portion(108) which measures a present temperature of the food through a thermocouple; a temperature informing device portion(110) which informs the reaching fact through sound or light when a temperature of the food reaches at a set temperature; a sensory test evaluation portion(112) which is provided with a standard for performing the sensory test of the food sample; an input and output portion which outputs result of the sensory test(114-1) and stores it(114-2); and a power supply portion(116) which supplies power to the devices.

Abstract: A scald alarm cup is provided to alarm differently according to the temperature of a beverage of a high-temperature that is received into the scald alarm cup, and to enable a user to drink safely. A scald alarm cup includes an alarm function selecting portion(10), a contact sensing sensor(12), a temperature measuring portion(14), an alarm information storing portion(16), an alarm amplifying portion(18) and a speaker(20). The alarm function selecting portion is used to select whether to operate the alarm function. The contact sensing sensor detects the contact of the user's hand with a handle of a cup and outputs a contact signal. The alarm information storing portion stores different alarm information according to the temperature of a beverage. The alarm amplifying portion amplifies the alarm information and outputs an alarm signal.

Abstract: A system and a method for evaluating sensibility of coffee are provided to extract/evaluate detail sensibility evaluation information correctly, conveniently, and economically without physically and chemically changing the coffee by using meaning differentiation scaling. A container(10) contains coffee to be evaluated, and a preprocessor(12) keeps a coffee sample in constant temperature and humidity. A coffee image output unit(14) outputs the coffee sample to a screen when an image and a photo of the coffee are evaluated. A sensibility evaluator(16) evaluates sensibility of the coffee. An input/output unit(18) inputs and outputs an evaluation result. The container is made of a material not easily modified or broken at high temperature, and includes a handle, and a non-transparent container lid forming a handle, and a smell hole for evaluating smell of the coffee, and a taste hole for tasting the coffee. The sensibility evaluator represents a sensibility level by clicking a corresponding position on a scale with a mouse cursor.
