Abstract: A bio reformer for a fuel cell using microorganism decomposing formic acid is provided to ensure excellent high power density, to prevent the generation of carbon monoxide and to be stored in the form of the formic acid by reforming the formic acid and supplying the formic acid to a fuel cell in the form of the hydrogen gas. A bio reformer for a fuel cell comprises a formic acid inlet; microorganism which decomposes a formic acid flown from the formic acid inlet and generates hydrogen; and an outlet ejecting the generated hydrogen. The microorganism is Enterobacter asburiae SNU-1(KCCM 10647P). The bio reformer for a fuel cell maintains an anaerobic condition of pH 5~7 and a temperature 25~47 °C.
