Abstract: A pharmaceutical composition for treating allergic diseases is provided to inhibit various Rho family activities by inhibiting calcium ion introduction in the cytoplasm, reduce release of a carrier such as histamine and leukotriene, and suppress an animal allergic asthma model. The pharmaceutical composition for treating allergic diseases comprises 8-oxo-deoxyguanosine as an effective ingredient, wherein the allergic diseases include anaphylaxis, allergic asthma, allergic bronchitis, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, urticaria, hey fever, allergic gastritis, allergic diarrhea, stomatitis, allergic conjunctivitis and allergic keratitis; and 8-oxo-deoxyguanosine is a nucleoside of 8-oxo-Gua produced by oxidation of guanine and is excreted as a waste matter.

Abstract: 본 발명은 8-옥소-구아노신(8-oxo-guanosine, oh8G), 8-옥소-데옥시구아노신(8-oxo-deoxyguanosine, oh8dG) 중 하나 이상의 성분을 유효성분으로 함유하는 항염증용 조성물을 제공한다.
본 발명의 oh8G, oh8dG 중 하나 이상의 성분을 유효 성분으로 함유하는 조성물은 마크로파지의 Rac2의 활성을 억제 시키며, 또한 이로 인하여 NADPH oxidase의 활성이 억제되고 동시에 활성산소 생성을 억제한다.
또한, 본 발명의 조성물은 LPS에 의하여 유도되는 pro-inflammatory cytokine의 혈중농도 상승 억제, 폐 조직에서의 MPO(myeloperoxidase) 활성 상승 억제, 폐 조직에서 Rac2 활성 증가 억제, 그리고 LPS에 의한 마우스 사망율을 현저히 억제한다.
따라서, 본 발명의 항염증용 조성물은 류마티스 관절염, 홍반성 루푸스, 다발성 경피증, 성인 호흡곤란 증후군 등의 다양한 염증 질환에 대한 항염증제로서 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.-

Abstract: A composition comprising 8-oxo-deoxyguanosine is provided to show equal effect to that of mesalazine, a conventional representative anti-inflammatory agent, without side effects such as hypersensitivity, nausea, vomiting and headache, thereby being used for patients showing hypersensitivity on salicylic acid and a derivative thereof and being usefully used as an anti-inflammatory agent for treating colitis. A pharmaceutical composition for treating colitis such as infectious colitis, ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease comprises 8-oxo-deoxyguanosine(8-oxo-dG) or 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine(8-oh-dG) as an effective ingredient. The composition further comprises at least one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier selected from the group consisting of saline solution, sterile water, Ringer's solution, buffered saline solution, albumin injection solution, dextrose solution, malto-dextrin solution and ethanol.

Abstract: 본 발명은 8-옥소-데옥시구아노신(8-oxo-deoxyguanosine; 8-oxo-dG 또는 8-하이드록시-데옥시구아노신; 8-hydroxy-deoxyguanosine; 8-oh-dG)을 유효성분으로 포함하는 대장염 치료용 약학적 조성물을 제공한다. 8-옥소-데옥시구아노신은 DSS로 유도한 대장염 동물 모델에서 대장염의 치료를 위해 사용되던 기존의 대표적인 항염증제제인 메살라진과 동등한 효과를 나타내며, 기존의 메살라진 제제나 NSAIDs계 항염증제와는 달리 과민반응, 구역, 구토, 두통 등의 부작용을 나타내지 않고, 살리실산 및 그 유도체에 대하여 과민증이 있는 환자에게도 사용할 수 있으므로, 본 발명의 조성물은 대장염의 치료를 위한 항염증제제로서 유용하게 이용할 수 있다.
