Abstract: An apparatus and a method for the treatment of wastewater are provided to increase removal efficiencies of nitrogen and phosphorous and improve overall utilization efficiency of organic matters. An apparatus for the treatment of wastewater using activated sludge of a sequencing batch reactor comprises: a flow equalization tank(12) in which raw water flows, and which equalizes flow rate and load of the raw water; a sequencing batch reactor(20) including a discharge preparation chamber(24) for forming and discharging settled sludge; an intermittent hydraulic pump supplying the flow rate within the flow equalization tank to the sequencing batch reactor; a sludge transfer pump(50) returning settled sludge in the sequencing batch reactor and discharge preparation chamber to the flow equalization tank; a first stirrer and a first aerator(80,82) installed in the flow equalization tank; and a second stirrer and a second aerator(90,92) installed in the sequencing batch reactor.

Abstract: The present invention related to a method of disposal sewage and wastewater by continuous batch reaction bath to be formed all process of disposal sewage and wastewater in one bath and apparatus thereof.An apparatus of present invention composed of exhausting clarified supernatant liquid to proper depth by ascent and descent curtain wall by putting apparatus for ascent and descent in regular place of reaction inside of exhaust pipe, in apparatus equipped to inflow sewage and wastewater to be treated from upside of one side by motor pump through inflowing pipe, put agitator inside of bath, be aerated by air pump, and be outflowing clarified supernatant liquid through exhaust pipe by operation of motor pump in the other side wall.
