    Abstract: PURPOSE: An anti-plant disease composition is provided to ensure anti-fungal activity against Magnaporthe grisea. CONSTITUTION: An anti-plant disease composition which prevents plant disease caused by Magnaporthe grisea contains Lysimachia mauritiana Lamack extract, fraction of the extract, anagallosaponin IV, or anagallosaponin VIII as an active ingredient. The extract is prepared by dipping Lysimachia mauritiana Lamack in a mixture solvent of water and ethanol. The composition additionally contains agrochemically acceptable carrier, wetting agent, dispersion agent, anti-freezing agent, thickening agent, or preservative. A method for preventing plant disease caused by Magnaporthe grisea comprises a step of contacting a plant with the composition.

The composition is a cosmetic composition or pharmaceutical composition.
