    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing pomegranate makkoli using pomegranate, which comprises the following steps: producing koji by mixing spawns with steamed and crushed rice, and adding yeast to the koji for fermenting and producing crude liquor; adding water to the crude liquor, and fermenting to obtain first fermented liquor; and adding water to the first fermented liquor, and fermenting to obtain second fermented liquor. One fermentation step among the first and second fermented liquor production steps is performed by adding pomegranate. The pomegranate makkoli obtained by the method of the present invention has excellent functionality and health functional effects of pomegranate compared with general liquor, and is capable of being used as health functional drink.
