Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for recognizing user motion, and more particularly, the present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for recognizing user motion, in which acceleration data are collected through an acceleration sensor and then a user motion is recognized by using Y and Z axis acceleration data among the collected acceleration data. To this end, the apparatus for recognizing the user motion according to one embodiment of the present invention may include: a data collection unit for collecting X, Y, and Z axes acceleration data; and a motion detection unit for detecting a peak value of the Y axis acceleration data, dividing the peak value in multiple windows based on a walking period of a user, and recognizing and detecting the user motion according to a preset recognition algorithm.

Abstract: 본 발명은 사용자 동작 인식 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 가속도 센서를 통해 가속도 데이터를 수집한 후, 수집된 가속도 데이터 중 Y축 및 Z축 가속도 데이터를 이용하여 사용자의 동작을 인식할 수 있는 사용자 동작 인식 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다.
이를 위한 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 사용자 동작 인식 장치는 X축, Y축, Z축 가속도 데이터를 수집하는 데이터 수집부 및 상기 Y축 가속도 데이터에서 피크(peak)를 검출하고, 사용자의 보행 주기를 고려한 다수의 윈도우로 분할한 후, 설정된 인식 알고리즘에 따라 사용자의 동작을 인식하여 검출하는 동작 검출부를 포함하여 구성될 수 있다.
