Abstract:
Provided are a pharmaceutical or cosmetic composition and an application-type gel, which prepare a curcumin-containing gel by adding curcumin to gel formulations for transdermal delivery to check an effect of treating wound, and treat skin wound containing the same. Through in vitro anti-inflammatory experiments and in vivo animal experiments, the present invention can check an increase of reepithelialisation tendency on a wounded area when using the curcumin-containing gel, thus is capable of being used for preparing the application-type gel which promotes wound healing.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A composition containing curdlan and gellan gum and a method for preparing an anti-adhesion agent using the same are provided to ensure biocompatibility and to prevent adhesion due to surgery, infection and trauma. CONSTITUTION: A composition for anti-adhesion contains curdlan and gellan gum as an active ingredient, in a weight ratio of 1:0.3-3. The composition is manufactured in the form of a foam, powder, or film. The composition further contains physiologically active proteins, functional peptides, anti-cancer agent, steroid medicine, non-steroid anti-inflammatory agent, hormone chemostatic factor, analgestic, or anesthetic. A method for preparing an anti-adhesion agent comprises a step of mixing curdlan, gellan gum, and water to prepare a gel solution and molding and drying the gel solution.

PURPOSE: An antimicrobial agent containing essential oil loaded in polymeric beads is provided to effectively and safely enhance anti-microbial activity. CONSTITUTION: An antimicrobial agent contains essential oil loaded in polymeric bead as an active ingredient. The polymeric bead is alginate bead. The essential oil is essential oil of tea tree, chamomile or eucalypus. The microbial is Staphylococcus aureus. A method for producing the antimicrobial agent comprises: a step of homogenizing essential oil and polymer solution(0.1-10% w/v of polymer) in a volume ratio of 1:100-1,000; and a step of dropping mixture solution into bead forming solution, washing and drying. The bead forming solution is calcium chloride, magnesium chloride or calciumsulfate solution.
