Abstract: PURPOSE: A data fitting method using modified Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm is provided to perform fast optimization calculation by using a norm value of an error function instead of a variable constant used to a gradient value and a hessian value in the previous Marquardt algorithm. CONSTITUTION: A nonlinear least square optimization method according to an equation 1 is used. The nonlinear least square optimization method according to the equation 1 is applied. A Jacobian value is obtained by partial differentiation of an error function (fi(x)) of the equation 1 as to a parameter. A gradient value is obtained by partial differentiation of a function (F(x)) of the equation 1 as to the parameter. A hessian value is obtained by partial differentiation of the gradient value as to the parameter again. The amount of change of the parameter is calculated according to modified Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm of an equation 2.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An electronic stethoscope apparatus for wireless sound-transmission using a separable auscultating unit are provided to obtain quantative information related to heart-sound or lung-sound using a contact type microphone composed of a piezoelectric film. CONSTITUTION: A contact type microphone(110) detects heart-sound and lung-sound. A circuit unit(125) performs an analog and digital process with respect to the detected sound signal. A battery(135) supplies power. A speaker(130) outputs the processed sound signal which is obtained from the circuit unit. A connecting terminal(140) is connected with a main tube.
