Abstract: PURPOSE: A planar type ultrasonic motor is provided to improve the efficiency of the planar type ultrasonic motor by forming a catching jaw in a resilient body and preventing the absorption of the vibration by a binding material. CONSTITUTION: The planar type ultrasonic motor comprises a planar shaped fixing vibrator(10) to which a resilient body(11) and a piezoelectric body(12) are attached, and a rotating body(13) to which a frictional material(20) is attached. The rotating body(13) has a cylindrical shape which can be rotated about a rotary shaft. The outer peripheral surface of the rotating body(13) makes contact with one side surface of the resilient body(11). The frictional material(20) is attached to the outer peripheral surface of the rotating body(13), and maintains the frictional force when the fixing vibrator(10) makes contact with the rotating body(11).

Abstract: 초음파 모터를 개시한다. 이러한 초음파 모터는 탄성 물질로 이루어진 탄성체와, 탄성체의 한쪽 면에 부착되어 있는 압전체를 포함한다. 탄성체의 압전체가 부착되어 있지 않은 면은 특정 곡률 반경을 갖는 오목한 곡면으로 형성되어 있다. 압전체는 두께 방향에 관하여 180°서로 다른 방향으로 분극되어 있고, 압전체의 다른 쪽면에는 전극이 배설되어 있다. 이 전극에 위상이 90°다른 고주파 전압이 인가되면 압전체가 진동하고, 이러한 진동을 통하여 탄성체가 굴곡진동 및 종진동을 수행한다. 탄성체 중앙부의 두께가 가장자리의 두께에 비하여 얇기 때문에 굴곡진동에 의한 변위가 더 크고, 따라서 동일 진동 모드상에서 효율이 향상된다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A supersonic motor is provided to magnify a displacement of a winding vibration direction of a vibration stator by making a thickness of a central portion of an elastic body become thin relatively with an edge. CONSTITUTION: The supersonic motor comprises an elastic body (10) and piezoelectricbodies (20a, 20b) coupled to one side of the elastic body. The elastic body (10) performs a winding vibration and a longitudinal vibration by a radio frequency voltage applied to the piezoelectric bodies (20a, 20b). A thickness of the central portion of the elastic body (10) is formed thinner than that of the edge of the elastic body (10) so that a weight of a central portion of the elastic body (10) is less than that of an edge of the elastic body (10).
