Abstract: PURPOSE: A polarization plate and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enhance adhesive strength and durability by attaching a polarizer and a protection film through an adhesive layer and a releasing layer. CONSTITUTION: A backlight unit(13) is located on a backside of a liquid crystal display panel(10). A pair of polarization plates(11,12) are attached on both sides of the liquid crystal display panel, respectively. A backlight unit supplies the light to the liquid crystal display panel. The backlight unit includes a fluorescent lamp or a light emitting diode, and the like.
