본 발명은 비액정 열가소성 수지 단일 필름이며, 상기 필름은 두께 방향으로 표면에 위치하는 상부 표면부와 하부 표면부; 및 상기 상부 표면부와 하부 표면부 사이에 위치하는 필름 내부로 이루어지고, 상기 필름 내부는 두께 방향으로 경사 배향되어 있으며, 상기 상부 표면부에서부터 상기 하부 표면부로 갈수록 상기 경사 배향 각도가 증가하여 변곡점을 지나 감소되는 프로파일을 가지고, 상기 필름 내부는 두께 방향으로 면내 광축이 틀어져 있는(twist) 광학필름, 이의 제조방법, 이를 포함하는 편광판 및 액정 디스플레이에 관한 것이다.

CONSTITUTION: A polarizing plate comprises a polarizer (1); a first protection film (2) laminated on the top surface of the polarizer though a first adhesive layer (10a); a second protection film (3) laminated on the bottom surface of the polarizer though the first protection film (2) and a second adhesive layer (10b).

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a polarizing plate and, more specifically, to a method for manufacturing polarizing plate, comprising a polarizer and a lamination to laminate a retardation film on one surface of the polarizer and to a step of drying the lamination. The method for manufacturing the polarizing plate is configured to increase the angle β of the film by 1-5 degrees compared with the retardation film included in the lamination, wherein the angle β of the film is defined by an orthogonal Nicol minimum transmission rate of a phase difference film, by adjusting a stay period during the drying zone of the laminate in the step of drying.

The present invention provides an optical film and a liquid crystal display including the optical film. The optical film of the present invention is a single non-liquid crystal thermoplastic resin film, wherein the value of depolarization due to the cross-nicol transmission is 0.3% or less.

PURPOSE: A polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display including the same can have about the same transmissivity and mechanical strength as triacetyl cellulose film and can reduce manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A polarizing plate (11) comprises a polarizer (21), an optical compensation film (27), a thin film layer (24), and a coating layer (26). The optically compensation film is positioned in the top of the polarizer, and an upper polarizing plate locates a release film attached on a liquid display panel. A thin film layer transmits light polarized by the polarizer and has an in-plane phase difference value of 500 through 3000nm. A coating layer has anti-glare property of 35% to 15 and includes multiple anti-glare particles having different refractivity.
