    Abstract: 본 발명의 응집고무 라텍스를 이용한 ABS 수지의 제조방법은 (1) 종자 합성고무 라텍스에 음이온성 유화제와 비이온성 유화제를 혼합, 교반하여 종자 합성고무 라텍스를 전처리 하는 제1단계; (2) 불포화산 함유 공중합체 라텍스에 이온교환수, 비이온성 유화제 및 전해질을 혼합하여 고형분 함량을 1 내지 10 중량%, pH를 5 내지 11로 조정하여 입자경 비대화제를 전처리하는 제2단계; (3) 상기 전처리된 종자 합성 고무 라텍스에 전처리된 입자경 비대화제를 일괄 투입하고 pH를 9 내지 12로 재조절하여 응집 고무 라텍스를 제조하는 제3단계; 및 (4) 상기로부터 제조된 응집 고무 라텍스에 아크릴로니트릴과 스틸렌으로 이루어진 모노머 혼합물을 투입하여 그라프트 중합하는 제4단계로 이루어진다.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a method for producing condensed particles using rubber latex having a middle particle size by adding unsaturated acid monomer containing copolymer latex to a synthetic rubber latex having a middle particle size. CONSTITUTION: The method includes the steps of mixing a synthetic rubber latex with a particle size of 1,500 to 2,500 angstrom, an anionic emulsifying agent, non-ionic emulsifying agent and a defoaming agent, while stirring to pretreat the synthetic rubber latex; mixing ion exchanging water and pH controller to a unsaturated acid containing copolymer latex having a solid content of 10 to 50 wt% to adjust the solid content of the copolymer latex to 1 to 10 wt% and the pH of 5 to 11; and adding the unsaturated acid containing copolymer latex treated as above into the pretreated synthetic rubber latex.

CONSTITUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition is produced by a process comprising the steps of: graft-copolymerizing a rubber polymer latex having the gel content of 60-80wt% and an average particle size of 0.10-0.15 micrometer and a graft monomer; graft-copolymerizing the first graft copolymer, a rubber polymer latex having the gel content of 50-70wt% and an average particle size of 0.25-0.30 micrometer and a graft monomer; graft-copolymerizing the second graft copolymer, a rubber polymer latex having the gel content of 40-50wt% and an average particle size of 0.50-0.65 micrometer and a graft monomer. The rubber polymer latex is a butadiene-acrylate copolymer, a butadiene-acrylate-styrene copolymer, or a butadiene-acrylate-acrylonitrile copolymer and the graft monomer is an aromatic vinyl monomer, an unsaturated nitrile monomer, or a mixture thereof.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a method for producing coagulated particles of rubber latex excellent in stability, which shows small changes of particle diameter with the lapse of time. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of (i) forming a seed synthetic rubber latex by typical emulsion polymerization, (ii) mixing an ion-exchanged water, pH adjusting agent, and emulsifier into a unsaturated acid-containing copolymer latex having solid content of 10-50 wt%, to pre-treat the latex so as to have solid content of 1-10 wt% and pH of 3-11, (iii) introducing the pre-treated latex into the seed synthetic rubber latex formed from the step(i), and (iv) adding an ion-exchanged water, anionic emulsifier, nonionic emulsifier, antifoaming agent, and water-soluble polymer to the seed synthetic rubber latex. The method is characterized in that the water-soluble polymer is selected from the group consisting of polyethylene glycol having number average molecular weight of 200-20,000, copolymer of ethylene glycol and ethylene oxide, and a copolymer of polypropylene glycol and propylene glycol and ethylene oxide.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a preparation method for ABS resin using coagulated rubber latex by controlling the conditions for preparing coagulated rubber latex and for graft polymerization. The process improves the lowering of fluidity and glossiness when the coagulated latex is applied to ABS resin. It also shortens the total polymerization time. CONSTITUTION: The method of preparation comprises: (1) a first step of pretreating seed synthetic rubber latex by adding negative ion emulsifier and non ionic emulsifier; (2) a second step of pretreating a particle size magnifier by mixing a copolymer latex containing unsaturated acid with ion exchange resin, non ionic emulsifier and electrolyte to be 1-10wt.% of solid content and pH of 5-11; (3) a third step of preparing coagulated rubber latex by adding pretreated particle magnifier to the pretreated seed synthetic rubber latex and controlling pH to 9-11; and (4) a forth step of graft polymerizing the coagulated rubber latex by adding a mixture of acrylonitrile and styrene.
