Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for preparing a resin composition is provided, to improve stabilities to the decomposition, crosslinking, networking or carbonization of resins due to retention in extrusion or injection process. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of mixing 100 parts by weight of a source resin with 0.001-10 parts by weight of a salt or oxide of divalent metals; and mixing 0-5 parts by weight of a metal soap-based or amide-based lubricant compound powder with the obtained one. Preferably the resin is a styrene-based obtained by polymerization or copolymerization of an aromatic vinyl compound and/or a cyano vinyl compound in the presence of a rubber component; the salt or oxide of divalent metals is selected from the group consisting of zinc chloride, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium carbonate, calcium carbonate, zinc oxide, magnesium oxide and calcium oxide; and the metal soap-based or amide-based lubricant compound is a metal soap-based compound or amide-based compound prepared from a saturated fatty acid of C12-C22.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A thermoplastic resin composition is provided, to improve remarkably elongation, thereby enhancing formability in case of vacuum molding or blow molding of a single resin or with another resin. CONSTITUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition is a nonlinear copolymer obtained by polymerizing 100 parts by weight of a cyano vinyl compound and an aromatic vinyl compound, and 0.01-3 parts by weight of a mixture comprising 1-99 wt% of a multifunctional mercaptan and 1-99 wt% of a multifunctional vinyl benzene-based compound. The thermoplastic resin composition has a polystyrene reduced molecular weight of 180,000 or more by gel permeation chromatography and an intrinsic viscosity of 0.6 or more in a tetrahydrofuran solvent. Preferably the multifunctional vinyl benzene-based compound is divinyl benzene; the cyano vinyl compound is an acrylonitrile compound; and the aromatic vinyl compound is a styrene compound.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A styrene thermoplastic resin composition which has excellent impact resistance at low-temperature and extrusion stability is provided by applying a graft copolymer made of butadiene rubber substances having different rubber particle size when producing ABS resin composition and adding at least one compound selected from a group consisting salt of divalent metal, dichloride metal, and dioxide metal. CONSTITUTION: A styrene thermoplastic resin composition having excellent impact resistance at low temperature and extrusion stability is comprised of: a base resin(ABS resin) 100 wt.% consisting (A) 25-60 wt.% of graft copolymer resin containing styrene formed of (a1) a graft copolymer resin containing styrene having an average rubber particle size of 0.28-0.4 micrometer, and (a2) a graft copolymer resin containing styrene having an average rubber particle size of 0.1-0.2 micrometer, and (B) 40-75 wt.% of graft copolymer resin containing styrene, and (C) 0.01-2 wt.% of salt of divalent metal. In order to reinforce the impact resistance of the composition, (a2) is preferably added in an amount of 20-80 wt.%, more preferably 30-60 wt.% based on the weight of (A).
