Abstract: A polycarbonate resin in the present invention is polymerized by a branching agent repregented by chemical formula 2, Mark-Houwink constant thereof is 0.4-0.60, and the concentration of a terminal hydroxyl group is 22% of total terminal groups. The branched polycarbonate resin remarkably decreases the concentration of hydroxyl groups so yellowness is improved and highly branched structure can be obtained. Abstract: A method for preparing a polycarbonate resin of the present invention comprises a step of: polymerizing aromatic dihidroxy compounds and diaryl carbonate and preparing a polycarbonate prepolymer; injecting and mixing an inert gas into the produced polycarbonate prepolymer; and foaming and polymerizing the polycarbonate prepolymer in which the inert gas is mixed. The method for preparing the polycarbonate resin can prevent or reduce the yellowing phenomenon during melt polymerization of the polycarbonate resin.

Abstract: A manufacturing method for branched polycarbonate of the present invention comprises: a step of manufacturing a first raw material by mixing an aromatic dihydroxy compound, diarylcarbonate and 60-140 ppb (weight) of a catalyst with respect to the aromatic dihydroxy compound and reacting the same; a step of manufacturing a second raw material by mixing an aromatic dihydroxy compound, diarylcarbonate, a phosphorus based branching agent and 350-450 ppb (weight) of a catalyst with respect to the aromatic dihydroxy compound and reacting the same; and a step of performing melt polymerization on 100 parts by weight of the first raw material and 1-20 parts by weight of the second raw material. The branched polycarbonate manufactured by the manufacturing method has excellent thermal stability since catalyst content is low and exhibits excellent color stability and mobility.
