    Abstract: PURPOSE: A resin composition for use in a component of refrigerator using HCFC141b as a foaming agent is provided to improve flow property, impact resistance, HCFC141b resistance and color stability. CONSTITUTION: The resin composition is characterized by comprising: (A) a graft copolymer comprising a diene synthetic rubber grafted with a vinyl cyanide compound and an aromatic vinyl compound; (B) a graft copolymer comprising an acrylic synthetic rubber grafted with a vinyl cyanide compound and an aromatic vinyl compound; (C) a copolymer of a vinyl cyanide compound with an aromatic vinyl compound having the content of vinyl cyanide compound ranged from 33 to 37 parts by weight and the weight average molecular weight of 60,000 to 80,000; and (D) a copolymer of a vinyl cyanide compound with an aromatic vinyl compound having the content of vinyl cyanide compound ranged from 28 to 32 parts by weight and the weight average molecular weight of 100,000 to 150,000, wherein the ratio of (A)+(B):(C)+(D) is 30-40:70-60, the ratio of (B)/(A) is 0.2 to 1 and the ratio of (C)/(D) is 0.5 to 1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A flame retardant rubber-reinforced polystyrene resin composition is provided, which is free from a halogen-based flame retardant, and is improved in the stability against fire, the environmental stability, the heat resistance, the impact strength and the fluidity. CONSTITUTION: The polystyrene resin composition comprises 70-94.5 wt% of a rubber-reinforced polystyrene resin; 0.5-10 wt% of a polyphenylene ether resin; and 5-20 wt% of a phosphoric acid ester compound comprising 40-80 parts by weight of an oligomer-type phosphoric acid ester compound having a hindered methyl group and 20-60 parts by weight of triphenyl phosphate. Preferably the rubber-reinforced polystyrene resin comprises 70-97 parts by weight of at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of an aromatic monoalkenyl monomer and an alkyl acrylate or methacrylate monomer and 3-30 parts by weight of a rubber selected from the group consisting of a butadiene-based rubber, an isoprene-based rubber, a copolymer of butadiene and styrene and an alkyl acrylate-based rubber, and has a particle size of 0.5-2.0 micrometers. Preferably the oligomer-type phosphoric acid ester compound is represented by the formula I, wherein n is a number average degree of polymerization and is 1-5; X is catechol, resorcinol, hydroquinone or bis phenylene diol of the formula II(wherein Y is an alkylene of C1-C5, an alkylidene of C1-C5, cyclo alkylidene of C5-C6, -S- or -SO2-, and z is 0 or 1).

CONSTITUTION: The odorless ABS resin is prepared by polymerizing 40 to 60 parts by weight of butadiene rubber, 60 to 40 parts by weights of a mixed monomer comprising styrene and acrylonitrile in a weight ratio of 80 : 20 to 50 : 50, 0.15 to 0.35 parts by weight of a persulfate based emulsion polymerization initiator, 0.05 to 0.2 parts by weight of a mercaptan based molecular weight controlling agent in the first stage and then polymerizing 0.05 to 0.3 parts by weight of a hydroperoxide based emulsion polymerization initiator, 0.01 to 0.2 parts by weight of a terpene based molecular weight controlling agent, an α-methylenestyrene dimer or a mixture thereof in the second stage. The styrene-based thermoplastic resin comprises 28 to 35 parts by weight of the graft ABS resin, 2 to 7 parts by weight of an acrylate resin component and 60 to 70 parts by weight of a styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer.
