Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for preparing a thermoplastic resin composition is provided, to improve heat resistance and transparency with deterioration of mechanical properties and impact resistance of an ABS resin. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of graft polymerizing a butadiene-based rubber latex having an average diameter of 0.2-0.5 micrometers, a monomer mixture comprising an aromatic vinyl compound, an unsaturated nitrile compound, an alkyl methacrylate and an alkyl acrylate in the ratio of 10-40 : 1-20 : 50-80 : 1-10 by weight and having a haze of final resin of 4 or less, and a fat-soluble oxidation reduction polymerization initiator; and adding a water-soluble thermally decomposable polymerization initiator and the rest of the monomer mixture when a conversion rate of graft polymerization reaches 90 % or more, to graft copolymerize them, wherein the monomer mixture is added by 10-30 wt% and 70-90 wt% at the first step and the second step, respectively.

PURPOSE: Provided are a thermoplastic resin composition excellent in mechanical properties, thermal properties, impact-resistance, transparency, and natural color and a process for producing the thermal plastic resin composition. CONSTITUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition is produced by the process comprising the steps of: dissolving an azo-based polymerization initiator in a monomer mixture(B) comprising an aromatic vinyl monomer, an unsaturated nitrile monomer, and an alkyl ester methacrylate monomer and graft-polymerizing the resultant with a rubber polymer(A), an emulsifier, a molecular weight controller, and ion exchange water at 50-80deg.C; adding a water-soluble polymerization initiator when the fractional conversion of the polymerization is more than 90% in the first step and then adding the monomer mixture(B) dividedly or continuously for 1-5 hours. The amount of the rubber polymer(A) is 40-60pts.wt. and the amount of the monomer mixture(B) is 40-60pts.wt., wherein 10-40wt% of the monomer mixture(B) is used in the first step and 90-60wt% of the monomer mixture(B) is used in the second step.

본 발명에 따른 내열성, 투명성 및 자연색상이 우수한 ABS 수지 조성물의 제조방법은 평균입경이 0.2∼0.5 ㎛인 부타디엔계 고무라텍스에 그라프트 단량체인 방향족비닐 화합물, 불포화니트릴 화합물 및 메타크릴산알킬에스테르의 조합비율이 각각 10∼40 중량%, 1∼20 중량% 및 50∼80 중량%로서 최종수지의 헤이즈(Haze)가 4 이하가 되도록 조합된 단량체 혼합물 및 유용성 산화환원 중합개시제와 함께 아크릴계 반응성 유화제를 투입하여 그라프트 중합하는 제1단계, 및 상기 제1단계 그라프트 중합의 전환율이 90% 이상에 이르면 수용성 열분해성 중합개시제 및 상기 단량체 혼합물을 투입하여 그라프트 공중합하는 제2단계를 포함하고, 상기 단량체 혼합물은 제1단계에서 10-30 중량%, 제2단계에서 90-70 중량%로 투입되는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따른 아크릴계 반응성 유화제는 중합 가능한 이중결합을 포함하고 탄소수가 4 내지 8개인 것으로서 그 투입량이 0.2∼1 중량부인 것을 특징으로 한다. 투명 ABS 수지, 아크릴계 반응성 유화제, 수용성 또는 유용성 중합 개시제, 내열성, 투명성, 자연색상.

PURPOSE: A thermoplastic resin composition having excellent impact resistance under high humidity, and improved transparency, natural colors and moisture resistance is provided. CONSTITUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition is produced by the process comprising the steps of: (a) introducing 40 to 60 wt% of a monomer mixture(B) consisting of an acrylonitrile monomer, styrene monomer and alkyl methacrylate in the presence of 60 to 40 wt%(based on solid contents) of an elastomeric polymer latex(A) having an average particle diameter of 0.2 to 0.5 micrometers, together with ion exchanged water, 0.5 to 1.0 parts by weight of an emulsifier, 0.1 to 1.0 parts by weight of a molecular weight modifier and 0.05 to 0.5 parts by weight of an oil-soluble peroxide initiator into a reactor, raising the temperature to 50 to 80 deg.C and adding a mixture of an initiation catalyst, a reducing agent and a complexing agent to perform a graft polymerization; and (b) introducing 0.3 to 1.0 parts by weight of a water soluble polymerization initiator when the conversion in the preceding step is more than 90%, and further introducing the monomer mixture(B) for 1 to 5 hours divisionally at several times or continuously to perform a graft polymerization.
