Abstract: An apparatus and a method for detecting approaching vehicles and an outside mirror using the same are provided to prevent car accidents entering dead spaces by extracting motion vector from image obtained by photographing the rear part of the vehicle. An apparatus and a method for detecting approaching vehicles and an outside mirror using the same comprise a camera(110), and a controller(120). The camera photographs the rear area of a vehicle. The controller sets up one image as the standard image among a plurality of consecutive images which the camera photographs. The motion vector of the pixels in the standard image is detected with reference to one or more images among before or after images of the standard image. In case the traveling direction of the detected motion vector is analyzed and the pixels having the motion vector in the approaching direction is detected, the controller outputs alarm signal according to the access of objects.

화상형성장치에서 다매의 용지를 적재하여 낱장으로 분리하여 급지하는 분리조방식을 구비한 급지트레이에 관한 기술임.
2. 발명이 해결하고자하는 과제
대용량의 용지를 적재하는 급지트레이에서 분리조분리급지방식을 채택하는 경우에 용지의 분리급지과정에서 발생하는 밀침력에 의해 분리조가 뒤로 밀려나게 되어 정상적인 분리급지가 안되는 경우를 방지하기 위하여 급지트레이가 닫혀진 상태에서 분리조의 위치를 고정시키는 분리조위치고정장치를 제공함.
3. 발명의 해결방법의 요지
분리조에 의해 분리급지가 이루어지는 화상형성장치 급지트레이(21)에 있어서,급지트레이(21) 내에 장착되어 용지크기에 따라 이동하며 용지측면을 지지하는 용지측면가이드의 하측에서 연장되어 절곡되게 구성되며, 선단부에 용지를 분리급지하는 분리조(23)가 일체로 형성된 분리조편(22)을 구성하고, 분리조지지편(24)을 상기 분리조편(22)과 평행하게 구성되며 선단부에는 내부에 고정기어(39)가 형성된 걸림편(25)을 구성하되 상기 분리조편(22)과 접하며 용지가 급지되는 측의 급지측판(27)에 걸쳐지도록 구성하고, 상기 걸림편(25)의 하측에는 전방으로 연장된 위치고정편(26)이 일체로 구성한다. 그리고, 상기 급지측판(27)의 상측으로 위치고정기어(40)를 구성하며, 상기 급지트레이(21)가 열리면 작동하지 않고, 급지트레이(21)가 닫히면 상기 위치고정편(26)을 하측으로 눌러주어 상기 고정기어(39)와 위치고정기어(40)가 서로 맞물리도록 하는 위치고정편 누룸수단을 갖는 화상형성장치 급지트레이의 분리조위치고정장치를 제공한다.
4. 발명의 중요한 용도
화상형성장치 급지카세트의 용지 분리급지방식을 분리조방식으로 구현하는 경우에 분리조위치고정장치에 의해 분리조가 변위되지 않아 항상 일정한 분리급지동작이 유지되도록 하는데 사용됨.-
