Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing amphotericin B-containing liposome is provided to enhance inclusion efficiency of amphotericin B and to obtain liposome with formulation stability. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing amphotericin B-containing liposome comprises: a step of preparing mixture solution having amphotericin B, phospholipid, and sterol to obtain mixture solution; a step of mixing aqueous phase having water and a supercritical fluid together with the mixture solution to obtain emulsion of supercritical fluid/aqueous phase; and a step of discharging supercritical fluid by decompression to form liposome solution. The solvent for making the mixture solution is chloroform, methanol, ethanol, ether, or mixture thereof.
