Abstract: PURPOSE: A compound is provided to enhance selectivity to a specific heavy metal ion, and to easily and quickly detect the existence of heavy metal ions with the unaided eye. CONSTITUTION: A compound is represented by chemical formula 1. A method for manufacturing the compound comprises a step of reacting 5-phenyl diazenyl salicylaldehyde(I) and 4-phenylthiosemicabazide(II) under the presence of an acid catalyst. A chemical sensor for detecting divalent metal ions includes the compound. The divalent metal ions are selected from Cd^2+, Hg^2+, Ni^2+, Zn^2+, and Cu^2+. The chemical sensor shows color change and absorbance change by forming the composite of a compound represented by chemical formula 1 and the divalent metal ions.

Abstract translation: 目的：提供化合物以增强对特定重金属离子的选择性，并且用肉眼容易且快速地检测重金属离子的存在。 化合物由化学式1表示。制备该化合物的方法包括在酸催化剂存在下使5-苯基二氮烯基水杨醛（I）和4-苯基硫代氨基己二烯（II）反应的步骤。 用于检测二价金属离子的化学传感器包括该化合物。 二价金属离子选自Cd ^ 2 +，Hg ^ 2 +，Ni ^ 2 +，Zn ^ 2 +和Cu ^ 2 +。 化学传感器通过形成由化学式1表示的化合物和二价金属离子的复合物来显示颜色变化和吸光度变化。

Abstract: 본 발명은 특정 금속이온에 대해 고선택성을 갖는 아조벤젠(Azobenzene) 계열 화합물 및 이의 제조방법, 상기 아조벤젠 계열 화합물을 포함하는 2가 금속이온 검출용 화학센서를 제공한다.
본 발명의 아조벤젠계 화학센서는 특정 중금속 이온에 대해 높은 선택성을 가질 뿐만 아니라 미량의 금속이온 농도에도 비색 변화를 나타내므로, 인체에 유해한 중금속 이온의 유무를 용이하게 검출할 수 있다.
