    Abstract: PURPOSE: A microphone array system for measuring a rotary noise source and a method for measuring a rotary noise source using a microphone array are provided to reduce the required amount of sensors by obtaining the noise data of a large amount of measurement points using the limited amount of microphones. The microphone array is arranged on the rotary plane and is composed of multiple movable microphones(121). The optical sensor is fixed to the position of the central shaft of a noise source and acquires a pulse signal. The analyzing unit calculates the rotation speed and the position of the noise source.
