Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for fabricating hybrid ion exchange fiber of adsorbent cake type which separates air pollutants, removes heavy metals from liquid phase waste and recovers valuable metal at high efficiency is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the processes of crushing ion exchange fiber to a size of 1 to 5 mm; crushing the swollen bead ion exchange body to a certain size by swelling a bead ion exchange body; dispersing the crushed bead ion exchange body into a water based binder added aqueous solution in a ratio of 0 to 30 vol.% for ion exchange fiber; putting the crushed bead ion exchange body dispersed solution into an acryl or glass tube having a certain diameter; removing water from the solution in the acryl or glass tube under the vacuum state of 750 mmHg or less; preparing adsorbent cake by pressing the water removed solution; separating the pressed adsorbent cake, and drying the separated pressed adsorbent cake in a vacuum oven of 60 deg.C for 24 hours, thereby completely removing water from the adsorbent cake.

Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided are a complex filter for a gas scrubber, which is able to simultaneously remove volatile organic compounds, ionic gas and heavy metals, and a gas scrubber, which is able to continuously regenerate the complex filter during the system operation. CONSTITUTION: The complex filter comprises a cation exchange filter part (A) adsorbing and removing cationic contaminants in gas to be treated, an anion exchange filter part (B) adsorbing and removing anionic contaminants in gas to be treated, an inorganic adsorbing part (C) filtering non-ionic contaminants including heavy metals and volatile organic components and a case(3) having at least one of the cation exchange filter part, anion exchange filter part and inorganic adsorbing part within at regular intervals. The gas scrubber where the complex filter for the gas scrubber is installed comprises a regenerating solution storing means regenerating the complex filter for the gas scrubber, a pumping means pumping the regenerating solution stored in the regenerating solution storing means to the top part of the complex filter and a regenerating solution spraying means periodically or intermittently.

Abstract: 본 발명은 컬럼충진시 이온교환섬유의 낮은 충진밀도로 인한 흡착 능의 저하를 보완하여, 대기오염물질의 분리나 액상 폐기물로부터의 중금속 제거 및 유가금속의 고효율 회수에 유리할 뿐 아니라 컬럼베드에 간편하게 충진할 수 있는 비드/섬유 혼성이온교환 흡착필터를 제조하는 방법에 관한 것이다.
본 발명의 일 예에 따른 비드/섬유 혼성이온교환 흡착필터의 제조방법은 ⒜비드이온교환체는 수계 팽윤방식으로, 이온교환섬유는 냉동파쇄방식으로 각각 분쇄하는 분쇄공정; ⒝ 수계 바인더가 혼합된 수용액에, 상기 분쇄공정에서 얻은 비드이온교환체와 이온교환섬유를 10∼30:90∼70의 부피 비(vol%)로 분산하는 분산공정; ⒞ 상기 분산공정에서 제조된 비드이온교환체와 이온교환섬유의 복합체를 감압장치에 투입하여 탈수하는 탈수공정; 및 ⒟ 상기 탈수공정에서 탈수시켜 얻은 비드이온교환체와 이온교환섬유의 복합체(필터 케이크)를 진공오븐에서 건조하는 건조공정; 을 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명의 비드/섬유 혼성이온교환 흡착필터에 의하면 저렴하고도 간단한 방법으로 칼럼에 충진할 수 있어 종래 카트리지의 빈 공간(dead volume)을 없앨 수 있고, 이로 인해 이온교환용량을 최대화할 수 있어 대기나 폐수로부터 유해가스나 중금속을 고효율로 제거함은 물론 음용수의 정수나 유용금속의 회수에도 효과적으로 사용될 수 있다.
