Abstract: A muffler with an inner heat shield is provided to effectively intercept heat, to reduce cost, size, and weight, and to prevent noise related to vibration. A muffler with an inner heat shield comprises a first outer shell(12) having an outer peripheral flange(16) and a chamber(18) protruded from the outer peripheral flange to define concave inside; a second outer shell(14) having an outer peripheral flange(26) fixed to the outer peripheral flange of the first outer shell and defining an inlet for entering a muffler(10) and an outlet(25) for coming out of the muffler; and a heat shield(50) uniting with the concave inside of a part of the chamber of the first outer shell.
