    Abstract: An apparatus and a method for analyzing an optical beam are provided to measure a beam waist position, beam power, a beam position and a time profile of a beam in beam spatial profile wave directions of all sensors. An apparatus for analyzing an optical beam includes fiber bundle set(1) used in a beam profiler. The fiber bundle set(1) includes a plurality of coherent optical fiber bundles having first and second ends(2,3). The fiber bundle provided at the first end(2) of the fiber bundle set(1) receives the optical beam along a scan line(21) formed in a plane(20). The fiber bundle provided at the second end(3) of the fiber bundle set(1) transfers light into an area array(4) formed in a plane(22). The optical fiber bundle has a rectangular sectional shape.

CONSTITUTION: An improved real-time goniospectrophotometer parabola-irradiates light from a light source in order to provide light beam from an azimuth angle within a zenith angle. Light is spectrum jet from the beam. An angular spectrum is obtained correspondingly to the zenith angle. The light beam includes a discrete beam set. Each beam included in the discrete beam set corresponds to the zenith angle within the zenith angle. The discrete beam set is collimated. Spectrum distribution of light from the light beam refers to diffraction of the light beam in a diffraction lattice.
