Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a magnesium alloy sheet and a magnesium alloy sheet manufactured by the same are provided to improve tensile strength compared with a magnesium alloy sheet formed by a conventional ingot casting method. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a magnesium alloy sheet comprises following steps. Molten metal is formed by dissolving magnesium and calcium to have the content of the calcium which is 0.5 weight%-5 weight% compared with the whole molten content. The molten metal is maintained from the temperature, in which liquid fraction is 70%, to the temperature, in which molten metal is ignited, and is transferred to a nozzle at the same time. The molten metal is injected from the nozzle between two cooling rolls(S300). A magnesium alloy sheet is formed.

Abstract: A manufacturing method of a magnesium alloy sheet in which an aluminum sheet is clad and the magnesium alloy sheet manufactured thereby are provided to prevent defect of a product, and to simplify processes. A manufacturing method of a magnesium alloy sheet having superior corrosion resistance includes the following steps of: supplying an aluminum sheet to one side or both sides of two cooling rolls when magnesium molten metal is injected; cladding the aluminum sheet on the surface of the magnesium alloy sheet; and heat-treating the magnesium alloy sheet. The thickness of the aluminum sheet is 5mm or less. Temperature of the magnesium molten metal is 650~750‹C.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A high-sensitive magnesium alloy sheet and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve normal temperature strength and hardness by controlling formation of intermetallic compounds and grain refinement. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a high-sensitive magnesium alloy sheet comprises the following steps of: manufacturing molten metal by dissolving alloy; maintaining the temperature of the molten metal; manufacturing a magnesium alloy sheet by injecting the molten metal between to cooling rolls(30); processing the magnesium alloy sheet at a temperature of 250 ~ 450°C for 1 ~ 24 hours; pre-heating the magnesium alloy sheet at the temperature of 150 ~ 450°C; rolling the magnesium alloy sheet; and processing the magnesium alloy sheet at the temperature of 150 ~ 400°C for 0.5 ~ 10 hours.
