    Abstract: PURPOSE: An output current controlling device of a bias modulator of an envelope tracking power transmitter and a controlling method thereof are provided to control the output power of the bias modulator of an ET(Envelope Tracking) power transmitter using an envelope curve signal. CONSTITUTION: An ET power transmitter(300) comprises a phase amplitude separation part(302), an orthogonal modulator(304), a local oscillator(306), a high efficiency power amplifier(308), and a bias modulator(310). The bias modulator comprises a linear amplifier(312), a comparator(314), a switching regulator control circuit(316), a switch driver group(318), and a switching regulator(320). The switching regulator control circuit is connected to the phase amplitude separation part, the linear amplifier and the comparator. The switching regulator control circuit generates a control signal. A pulse generated by the control signal controls the amount of current outputted from the switching regulator.
