Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for producing plant with enhanced or suppressed blue light recognition ability is provided. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing a plant with enhanced blue light recognition ability comprises: a step of overexpressing a gene comprising a sequence of sequence number 1 or similar sequence with the sequence of sequence number 1; and a step of selecting a plant with enhanced blue light recognition ability. The gene is a gene encoding a polypeptide comprising amino acid sequence of sequence number 2.
