본 발명은 개화 지연 또는 성장 억제 기능을 지니는 폴리펩티드, 이를 암호화하는 폴리뉴클레오티드 및 이들의 용도를 개시한다. 구체적으로 본 발명은 개화 지연 또는 성장 억제 기능을 지니는 폴리펩티드, 그 폴리펩티드를 암호화하는 폴리뉴클레오티드, 개화 지연 표현형을 지니는 식물체의 제조방법, 성장 억제 표현형을 지니는 식물체의 제조방법, 형질전환 식물체의 선별 방법, 및 식물체의 개화 지연 또는 성장 억제 유도 물질의 스크리닝 방법을 개시한다.

The present invention discloses a polypeptide having a function for delaying anthesis or suppressing growth, a polynucleotide encoding the same, and a use thereof. Specifically, the preset invention discloses a polypeptide having a function of delaying anthesis or suppressing growth, a polynucleotide encoding the same, a method for manufacturing plants with a phenotype of anthesis delay, a method for manufacturing plants with a phenotype of growth suppression, a selecting transgenic plants, and a method for screening materials which delay anthesis or suppress growth of plants.

PURPOSE: A polypeptide having a function of flowering delay or growth suppression and a polynucleotide encoding the same are provided to determine harvest time and to develop plants. CONSTITUTION: A polypeptide with a function of flowering delay and/or growth suppression contains: a polypeptide comprising entire amino acid sequence of sequence number 2; a polypeptide having substantial part of the amino acid sequence of sequence number 2; and a similar polypeptide thereof. A method for producing a plant with phenotype of flowering delay comprises: a step of overexpressing a gene having a base sequence of sequence number 1 or similar sequence thereof; and a step of selecting a plant in which flowering delay phenotype is induced.

PURPOSE: A method for producing plant with enhanced or suppressed blue light recognition ability is provided. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing a plant with enhanced blue light recognition ability comprises: a step of overexpressing a gene comprising a sequence of sequence number 1 or similar sequence with the sequence of sequence number 1; and a step of selecting a plant with enhanced blue light recognition ability. The gene is a gene encoding a polypeptide comprising amino acid sequence of sequence number 2.
