PURPOSE: Mimotope peptides of phenolic glycolipid-I(PGL-I) of Mycobacterium leprae and a kit for serodiagnosis of leprosy containing the same are provided, thereby substituting expensive PGL-I with the cheap mimotope peptide of PGL-I. Therefore, the cost for serodiagnosis of leprosy can be decreased. CONSTITUTION: Mimotope peptides of phenolic glycolipid-I(PGL-I) of Mycobacterium leprae have the amino acid sequence of WTLGPYV, WRLGPYV or WTLGPYM. A conjugate of the mimotope peptides of phenolic glycolipid-I(PGL-I) of Mycobacterium leprae and bovine serum albumin(BSA) is provided. A kit for serodiagnosis of leprosy contains the mimotope peptides of phenolic glycolipid-I(PGL-I) of Mycobacterium leprae or the conjugate of the mimotope peptides of phenolic glycolipid-I(PGL-I) of Mycobacterium leprae and bovine serum albumin(BSA).

본 발명은 나이세리아 메닝자이티디스 혈청 그룹 B( Neisseria meningitidis serogroup B) (NMGB)의 항체인 HmenB3에 대한 항-이디오타입 항체 및 이 항체를 생산하는 하이브리도마(hybridoma)에 관한 것이다. 또한 본 발명은 NMGB 항체 HmenB3에 대한 항-이디오타입 항체 및 약제학적으로 수용 가능한 담체를 포함하는 혈청 그룹 B 수막염균증(meningococci)을 예방 또는 치료할 수 있는 백신 조성물에 관한 것이다.

PURPOSE: A vaccine composition for preventing meningococcal disease is provided, thereby preparing an anti-idiotype antibody to NMGB(Neisseria meningitidis serogroup B) having very low antigenicity and consequently improving the immunity to NMGB. CONSTITUTION: An anti-idiotype antibody to HmenB3 as an antibody to NMGB and active fragments thereof are provided, wherein H(heavy) chain of variable region of the anti-idiotype antibody has the putative amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 5 and L(light) chain of variable region of the anti-idiotype antibody has the putative amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 6. A hybridoma producing the anti-idiotype antibody (KCTC 10228BP) is provided. A gene encoding the anti-idiotype antibody is provided, wherein the nucleotide sequence encoding the H chain of the variable region is represented by SEQ ID NO: 7, and the nucleotide sequence encoding the L chain of the variable region is represented by SEQ ID NO: 8. The vaccine composition for preventing meningococcal disease comprises the anti-idiotype antibody or active fragments thereof and pharmaceutically acceptable carriers.
