Abstract: A method for sintered alumina including the change of initial sintering condition under oxygen or nitrogen to that under different one among oxygen, nitrogen or argon during normal pressure sitering process at 1600≦̸C has the advantage to obtain more compact structure and fine grain size resulted from depressing the grain growth.
