Abstract: A signal generator and a position estimation system having the same are provided to reduce the consumed power by expanding a signal cover region without an additional driving unit and to estimate the position stably by reducing the time for searching the position of an object. A signal generator(10) for estimating position information of an object is composed of a control board(12) and a signal transmitting unit(14) installed on the control board. The signal transmitting unit has a plurality of signal cover regions corresponding to the number of sections, to be divided into plural sections. At least one of the signal cover regions is obliquely fixed for a normal of the plane of the control board. The signal transmitting units are aligned from the center at regular intervals.
