    Abstract: The polymeric humidity sensor and the process thereof by an electrochemical method are disclosed in which polymerization is conducted by applying direct current between anode of micropole having sensor structure and cathode of platinum plate, using an electrolyte solution prepared by mixing a monomeric pyrrole with a solution containing dodecylsulfate anion of high molecular weight, to form polypyrrole doped with anion on the anode as a film. Then, reduction is conducted by applying opposite direct current between the anode and the cathode, using an electrolyte solution containing small-sized cation, to hold the anion on the polypyrrol as well as to penetrate the cation to form a salt, whereby rendering ion conductivity.
