Abstract: A plasma polymer membrane was manufactured by the plasma polymerization and deposition of an organic silicone compound monomer on the porous support, and heat-treated to give the oxygen selective permeating membrane. Thus, a hexamethyldisiloxane monomer was plasma polymerized on the polycarbonate in a vacuum to give the deposited assymetric hexamethyldisiloxane membrane.
