Abstract: The inverter for controlling the motor speed with broad region comprises a variable DC power source (DCR), a main inverter (G11-16, D11-16) and an auxiliary inverter (T21-26) which are connected in parallel, inductors (Ld1-2) for providing the DC power to the main inverter, and a rectifier (D21-26) for providing DC power to the auxiliary inverter. The DC power in view from the main inverter has a high impedance but is low in view from the auxiliary inverter. Each switching device in both inverters is connected by a snubber circuit for stable switching performance.
