    Abstract: The manufacturing process for hard magnetic material comprises (1) plasticizing dust from a steel-making furnace at 500-600 deg.C, (2) leaching zinc component with weak acidic solution except iron component,followed by filtering, (3) separating zinc-containg solution and iron-containg solid portion, (4) separating iron oxide from the solid portion by magnetic separation, (5) adding and mixing barium or strontium compound, and (6) firing the mixture at high temperature.
