    Abstract: The method is characterized by using ferrite powder as coagulating and precipitating agent to remove floating impurities in the water. Especially the ferrite powder is premixed with a trivalent metal salt such as aluminium salt and ferric salt, or a synthetic polymer coagulant such as amine and amide polymers to be reformed for use. Used ferrite powder is easily and economically recovered by magnetic separation from the precipitated slurries on the bottom of the purifying tank, and separated floating impurites can be handled by the conventional filtering method. Metal components of ferrite powders do not dissolve since ferrite powders are spinnel structured and so chemically stable.

    Abstract: A silicon thin film anode for a lithium secondary battery is provided to control the volume change generated in charging/discharging effectively, to prevent the delamination phenomenon from a current collector, to improve capacity and cycle property due to excellent electric conductance and adhesion. A silicon thin film anode(1) for a lithium secondary battery comprises current collector(10), anode active material layer(20) and carbon coating layer(40). The current collector comprises metal. The anode active material layer comprises a silicon and is formed on a current collector. The carbon coating layer covers the anode active material layer and does not react with electrolyte.

    Abstract: 0.2-50 wt % of Silver compounds such as Ag2O, AgO, AgNO3, AgCl3, AgSO4, Ag were added in manganese oxides such as MnO, MnO2, Mn3O4, Mn2O3, were fine grinded, and added a catalyst binder such as colloidal silica, ethyl silicate or colloidal alumina to give a slurry of the catalyst. Title catalyst useful for a complete combustion of an oil stove was prepared by coating the slurry on the catalyst carrier such as ceramic, metal net, ceramic woven fabrics or ceramic nonwoven fabrics.
